 How blessed are we?

Moriah is about to be married to such a precious guy hand picked by the Lord. 

Madison’s heart is blazing for Jesus!

Drew’s heart is faithfully and obediently pursuing the path God has shown him. 

Every week I get to be in a room full of corporate worship to our Lord and beside me are all THREE of my children. Hands raised in surrender to the ONE who gives us breath. 

Our story is one of redemption. It’s God’s story. 

The other night we went to a concert together-they chose it. Worship. 

Who gets to live this life? Whose heart gets to stay this full?  

It wasn’t always this positive. We have walked through hell. We each have had our own struggles and still battle daily. BUT God was with us through every sorrow. I am thankful.

He has indeed restored the YEARS the locusts have eaten. 

Joel 2:25 And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.

I know we are about to walk through more.  Maybe for many many years-life won’t look the way our human minds envisioned and I know that. I surrender that also to the Lord. My job is to be faithful to the end. Regardless of what He asks. He has clearly given us a reprieve that has lasted about two years.  I don’t know how long it will continue BUT we will serve the Lord.

Let Him dwell within me, ALL of my days. He is my and the only source of real JOY! The world is a liar. Only YOU can decide who you want to be, your identity is either in the world or in Jesus. If it's in Jesus then you are perfect because He is perfect. He atoned for all of our real imperfections. If sin leads to death, why do we chase it? Why do we chase the grave instead of His grace? Me too, it's a daily surrender of my desire for the world. Daily, hourly, minutely. The pull is intense and the struggle is real. Literally. No matter what happens to me, you know your mother's heart chases after Jesus Christ Himself. It is not the path of least resistance. On the contrary. I live my life for Him and through Him because I have already experienced the contrary. It was a state of darkness and death. Absence of light and of love. Of course I want to spare you the suffering of that course but sometimes we must walk through that mire to appreciate Him as he washes it off of us s...
