walkers...and all

SO, we finally bought a high chair for Madison, who until now seemed so big. The foot ledge thingy is seriously 11 inches from her cute little feet. She looks so tiny in this massive thing. BUT! I love it, because she loves it. She just chills out and tosses her toys, one by one onto the wood floors. It never fails to startle me, but it doesn't even phase HER. She is SO cute. Matt and I spend the evenings looking at her and saying things like, "LOOOOK how cute she IS, just LOOOOK" over and over and over again. Other people just don't seem to appreciate her total cuteness the way we do. Such a shame. You should totally see how CUTE this little baby is. Man, oh man..she is so cute. I guess that could get annoying to a non-Madison parent or something. Oh, and don't get me started on the walker...that I guess some big authority over the internet does not agree with the use of walkers. Due to the wrong muscle development or something..but hey, she goes backwards anyway...

Happy Father's Day

You know, I can honestly say that I have known the two most loving fathers and men in the history of the universe. SURE, my opinion may be a tad biased, but seriously. Of course I am talking about my dad, and my husband. My dad was the sweetest man, all my life...still is. Growing up, I knew nothing but hugs and kindness from him. As a little girl, I remember the things he did with me...so many things. I remember...getting me all bundled up for the snow..putting little sandwich bags on my feet to keep the water out of my shoes. I remember him dragging me behind him on a sled (my brothers were there too) and letting us sled down the hills. I remember piggy back rides, whenever I wanted. I remember once when I was 4 he brought me flowers. I remember him giving me a little jewelry set that had a ring, a necklace and bracelet in it (it had little yellow roses on it) I remember burrying the ring in the sandbox, and losing it...he was out there with me digging around trying to help...

home...

The town in which I live… I was on my way out of the walmart this afternoon when I passed two older gentlemen sitting in the bench at the front of the store…they were both farmers, I think. They were wearing overalls, and just shooting the breeze. I overheard one of them say as I strolled my cart by…”I’ll tell you the best way to make you up some sausage…” I smiled as I passed and went home. I grew up in what used to be a smallish town. Due to “sprawl-whatever”, the road to the grocery store turned into a 4 lane hwy adorned with many stop lights and later, even a Panera. (Although I have nothing bad to say about panera) I am not exaggerating when I say, it took 20 minutes to get down 2 miles of road to the grocery store from my last home. It was INSANE. I grew to despise going out, anywhere. The traffic was HORRENDOUS. I commuted and hour each way to work, through more complicated cities and towns than my own. If anyone knows Tyson’s Corner, they know just what I am talking about. I ju...
