Matt always says to me, “I wish Drew talked to me the way he shares things with you...” It’s all about quality time. I feel like it’s just simple-we get so caught up in routine or to do lists or whatever..and we can lose sight of eachOTHER. I have been blessed to spend wonderful time with each kid and it affords the opportunity for them to share their hearts a s hurts. I’m eternally grateful. With a little nudging for Matt to go with Drew night fishing-he will get the same opportunity. Drew was in the car with me organizing his tackle box along the way-intending to fish with his friend when we got to the condo. The friend then could not go and he was so disappointed. Perfect opportunity for Dad to save the day! (Or, night. As in this case) I’ll just sit here and try to hear them down there. I will wait for them to come back to tell me all about the bites they got.
