I have to admit...pumpkin muffins are my very favorite things about fall. Baking, measuring, pouring, ingredients...these are all life skills, necessary in caring for a family. Something *this* simple can be an excellent homeschool afternoon project. ...what's better than eating your tasty school work? I am thankful to my Lord, for calling me to serve in my very own home. When I walk into a wal-mart or target, I feel a sad pang in my chest, as I remember this time of year so vividly with my first daughter.   It takes me back for a tiny moment, to what it felt like to be her mother, so many years ago..it seems.  I am grateful to have the opportunity to see her and live near her..but I do so miss the days she was just mine.  A new season, is the school year beginning for the next 2 kids.  Madison is 6 and beginning 2nd grade, Drew is 5 and in Kindergarten.
