Moriah Conquers Mountains!

I get a call from Moriah in the afternoon. “Mom, so I’m headed to the ER” I knew she was hiking sharp Top-alone. Thankfully she told me. She’s tough and strong so I really wasn’t very worried.  Well unfortunately, we need bones to hold us up and hers said no. She slipped and broke her right fibula. We figured that out after 9 hours in the Roanoke ER. It was a really beautiful experience though, seriously. God was all over it.  4 weeks later-no healing at all. Moriah had been staying with us during that time. Devastating news. However they put her in a walking cast and she quickly became mobile. Her next appt is in a few weeks and we are anxious to see some news bone growth and avoid surgery.

High school Days 2022 Madison/Drew

Blue faces for homecoming football. Such team spirit. Let’s not even talk about the fact my one child can drive the other to a Friday night tailgating and football game. No, let’s not.  Here is what I’m grateful for..my two teenagers are excited and wanting to attend their own school functions knowing all staff and administrators will be there.  Choosing a Christian  school function over a county school event. (Which they wouldn’t be allowed to go anyway, but still)

Matt’s Dream come True!

It does my heart good to see him get to enjoy something he has worked so hard for. He’s in heaven!

S’mores night! 2022

It was a pretty chill Saturday, which rarely happens. Thankful for a Strong man who can chop wood!
