Can you see it? I hope not-because I work hard to mask it when it reads its’ destructive head.
It’s Christmas and I have to wear a mask. Satan is a thief. He may be able to steal my happiness right now-but I won’t let him steal theirs. I love you, my family. I hope you never have to feel this for yourself. Thank you for enduring the days with me, while I do.
God is my rock and my strong tower. He covers me with his wings. I know he always will. He is my HOPE and he is my JOY.
I share this, so you will always know I warred for you. Fought this silent battle hard. Hopefully I can finish the race strong.
*update
Depression is a polarizing calamity. It seals of the sufferer and puts them in a tiny dark box. They cannot see what or whom is on the outside of that box. If you’re there and you’re trying to get it, I can’t see you. It is Satan manipulating body, chemicals, emotions, perceptions, feelings. You become a victim but can’t see the many other victims on the outside of your box. I know you’re there, I just can’t see you. I’m sorry when I’m suffering I can’t see out of my own eyes. It’s like they turn inward and all I can see is me and my own hurt.
Just know. I know you’re there. I will always fight through and always find treatment so I can come back to you. But the invisible suffering is its own prison sometimes. It wasn’t because of you. Just the enemy who seeks to kill me, destroy my life, and divide my family. YOU belong to the Lord and I won’t let him get to you.
