So many things...

Disjointed, but important events to note:

*Closed on our NC home, FINALLY! We know this was God's grace and we are so thankful. Because of this, we are able to pay off some debt that otherwise we would likely carry for the rest of our lives because debt is a pit we cannot climb out of ourselves!

*We were able to spend a week in PA with Matt's grands! We had such a nice time and our children had an even better time! I wish I had more pictures to show for it, but will add what I have soon. We made it safely home!

*I was able to meet up with Kris, a dear friend from the maternity home where I went with Moriah. I was able to hook up with her last year too! She lives in the same town as Matt's grandparents.

*I was able to go to NOVA the next day to see friends I hadn't been able to spend any time with for years! I am so so so glad I had that opportunity, I had missed them so much!

*Matt's faithful friend helped him move (the rest of) our furniture, AGAIN! So far, he has helped with every move we have made, and there have been a few! We are thankful for faithful friends!

*So good to be home again with my children! I have missed having them to myself! I get more hugs and kisses when we're home :)

*Now, we are preparing to go to NC for Carter's 4th Birthday Party! I can't believe he is 4! Means Madison isn't far behind. Where did the years go? The day Carter was born, Matt and I chose our NC home.

*I am preparing for Eric's upcoming wedding. I need a ticket and a dress!

*We are scouting around for our new home. We love Roanoke and know we would like to stay. God has blessed us with amazing friends here and a fabulous church family. We are ready to finish settling in and raise our babies here.

Let Him dwell within me, ALL of my days. He is my and the only source of real JOY! The world is a liar. Only YOU can decide who you want to be, your identity is either in the world or in Jesus. If it's in Jesus then you are perfect because He is perfect. He atoned for all of our real imperfections. If sin leads to death, why do we chase it? Why do we chase the grave instead of His grace? Me too, it's a daily surrender of my desire for the world. Daily, hourly, minutely. The pull is intense and the struggle is real. Literally. No matter what happens to me, you know your mother's heart chases after Jesus Christ Himself. It is not the path of least resistance. On the contrary. I live my life for Him and through Him because I have already experienced the contrary. It was a state of darkness and death. Absence of light and of love. Of course I want to spare you the suffering of that course but sometimes we must walk through that mire to appreciate Him as he washes it off of us s...
