Man oh man...

I just don't feel like I can take another day! I asked to doc today to "help" me out..she said no. Depressing. We are all set to go next Friday, bright and early. Can't wait, but wait...I am not READY! Freaking out just a bit, don't mind me. Life is more difficult the more pregnant I become. I can't imagine having to wait another 3 weeks, for my due date! Thank GOODNESS we have been able to get Madison on an excellent schedule before this baby comes. I can't imagine caring for a newborn the way things were rolling. She was sleeping with us, not falling asleep until about 10 or 11pm most nights, waking 3-5 times a night and wouldn't sleep without another bottle each time. Awoke wet most mornings, so required a bright and early diaper and sleeper change...then throughout the day, required to be held for her naps or she would wake right up and repeat. Life has become much more managable now that we have gotten some sense. Now she goes to sleep around 7 or 7:30, no later than 8pm. (yay) In her crib, did I mention that?? IN HER CRIB, alone, no fussing... She sleeps alllllll night, or wakes briefly and falls right back to sleep and wakes for the morning 7:30-8am. Naps around noon, IN HER CRIB, alone! And repeat... which leaves me, oh so much more sane.

I have all night to sleep, if only I could. I wake and wake and wake...a hundred times it seems. You would think I would really take this time to cherish this pregnancy and make the most of it as it will be my last. MY LAST. But no, I hurt too much to cherish. I will cherish Matthew when he is on the outside. I have sent him eviction notice after notice, to NO avail. He does NOT get the picture. Soon enough. I can breath again. I can't wait. For the baby, that is.

Enjoy some pictures of the big sister...

Let Him dwell within me, ALL of my days. He is my and the only source of real JOY! The world is a liar. Only YOU can decide who you want to be, your identity is either in the world or in Jesus. If it's in Jesus then you are perfect because He is perfect. He atoned for all of our real imperfections. If sin leads to death, why do we chase it? Why do we chase the grave instead of His grace? Me too, it's a daily surrender of my desire for the world. Daily, hourly, minutely. The pull is intense and the struggle is real. Literally. No matter what happens to me, you know your mother's heart chases after Jesus Christ Himself. It is not the path of least resistance. On the contrary. I live my life for Him and through Him because I have already experienced the contrary. It was a state of darkness and death. Absence of light and of love. Of course I want to spare you the suffering of that course but sometimes we must walk through that mire to appreciate Him as he washes it off of us s...
