Snapshot

Snapshot borrowed from Holymama.

Reading: Yeah right, like I have time. I will catch up in a few years.

Music in my head: Backyardigan's theme song. It's not so bad really.

Drinking: Nothing, but I am kind of thirsty.

Wishing: I felt well enough to get anything constuctive accomplished around here.

Considering: Purchasing privacy curtains, we have been exposed for way too long.

Feeling: Bloaty and full of baby.

Goals: Utilize my nesting instincts to get stuff done. (I cleaned under the kitchen sink yesterday, come on it's working)

To Do List: Incorporate flylady's system over here.

Hours gloriously spent in bathtub tonight: You can do that?

Things Accomplished: Nothing that anyone but me would ever notice, hence the organized cleaning supplies.

Me too, it's a daily surrender of my desire for the world. Daily, hourly, minutely. The pull is intense and the struggle is real. Literally. No matter what happens to me, you know your mother's heart chases after Jesus Christ Himself. It is not the path of least resistance. On the contrary. I live my life for Him and through Him because I have already experienced the contrary. It was a state of darkness and death. Absence of light and of love. Of course I want to spare you the suffering of that course but sometimes we must walk through that mire to appreciate Him as he washes it off of us s...
