Hearts Surrendered

 Ben loves Moriah. We love Ben. He’s a very special dude and now he’s about to marry a very special gal. God has been faithful I can’t wait to see what they are going to do for the Lord side by side. So one day Ben and his dad had completed a special gazebo type wooden structure in the woods with the intention of him, decorating it, leaving Moriah there and proposing to her there. He invited us to join his parents at their house while we waited. He took moriah through the woods to the structure that was fitted with twinkle lights, a campfire, rocking chairs, and a hammock. He carved their initials on a tree and asked for her hand. She said yes. It had been a rainy day, but the rain has stopped before Ben took Moriah out. the sun came out and there were even spots of blue skies.  This is Madison’s last first day and of course the kids’ last first day of school-together.  Of course looking back at pictures is always nostalgic. Gives you a “twinge” of loss, time lost, or moments lost. Nothing has really been lost. It’s only been gained one piece at a time building upon another and adding up to this very moment. I’m so proud, deeply proud of these kids. I’m proud of the human beings they have become-through the grace of God. PURE Grace of our loving Father.  This year is an exciting one for Madison, as she is deeply connected to the Lord and seeking whole heartedly as well for her. Her eyes are wide open her ears are open. Her heart is open for what opportunities he might bring her way, and what direction he might lead. She’s very intent on being an intentional, spiritual leader for her school this year. Being a senior, finally having a position, carrying a lot of responsibility for the younger classes coming in.
