Cavities!

What two year old gets cavities? Apparently only mine. Madison had a cavity that affected two of her front teeth. I took her to a dentist who filled the teeth today. I had to send her back, alone. They don't let parents accompany the kids in the treatment rooms. It was one of the hardest things I have done with her so far. I am so glad we got it taken care of when we did though. I have seen that dark spot between her teeth for a year or more. She has always gone to bed with a bottle..our mistake. We have to break her of it cold turkey, not going to be fun.

the sweetest exchange...

Conversing with Madison, who is two... (Matt told me of a similar converstaion he had with her, which prompted me to ask her this question) Me: Who is in your heart?? Madison: JEsus in my heart.Me: Where is God??Madison: God in my heart TOOOO! Me: Jesus loves little children.Madison: Jesus LOVES me and Jesus loves Drew toooo. Mommy loves Jesus and Madison loves Jesus toooo. (all the while, looking at her heart) Imagine this conversation with a two year old, who has a little helium voice and uses so much inflection in her words. It was the sweetest exchange I have ever had.
